Hey guys! What do you think about using the HubDC wordpress to continue the conversations? Perhaps we could work together to build out the functionality of the site to have avenues for discussion. While very similar, Hub DC is distinct from the Center for Social Innovation.

-an online system that maps what people are interesting in offering in a community and you can see what people are interested in doing in your locality. The system facilitates the connections.
-facilitate the exchange of work hours
-checks with things like child care.
-possible tie-in for DC?
-so many distinct groups.
-Communities, but people are not always talking.
-w/traditional membership? This might be a way to bring people in. Free event access with contributions to the time bank.
-Allows people without financial access.
-Spend an hour doing something for somebody and get time dollars that can be spent to get other people to do something for you.

Hub creates the ability to work with other cities through the network and platform that they provide.

To be a “Hub” it would need a hub. Is it better to find a place within an existing building?

hub not a location but a networking thing?

People who use Hubs want their space with a formal area to meet in.

Co-working space. One stable space where people can go to.

Space needs are unique.
